Children are a Gift
Our children are gifts to be treasured. They belong to God, but he has entrusted them to our care.

Psalms 127 and 128 provide the encouragement we need to put the Lord at the helm of our families, and they show that blessings come if we keep Him at the centre of our lives and endeavours.
While our impersonal world makes us wonder if we really matter, Psalm 139 tells us that we do matter—we matter to God. The Lord watches over us intently, He probes the deepest recesses of our hearts, and His love always reaches us no matter how far we stray. As we prepare to learn this last song in our study, let’s quiet our minds and silence the messages from the world that tell us we don’t matter.
Have you ever been told you’re a marvel? Do you feel genuinely unique, and capable of whatever you dream of? You will never know how empowering your children with confidence and security will help them know and accept and be who they are.
In the midst of a bad day remember these three things. First, you’re not alone. Second, you’re not without protection. Third, you’re not without hope. God is with you.
God loves variety. That’s why He made all kinds of people with different interests and abilities.
Type A people are the ones up front. They motivate and inspire others. Type B people work behind the scenes. They’re the thinkers, with an attention to detail. We may each be a personality type but we’re all created by God for a unique purpose.
We have previously spent time learning about observation, interpretation, and correlation in the process of learning how to get into the Word for ourselves. Now, we come to the crowning part of the learning process—the application of God’s truth to our lives.
This holiday season, join Pastor Chuck Swindoll as he shows how this ancient hymn instructs us to look beyond our earthly blessings and behold in gratitude the One Who’s so bountifully blessed us.
In this message, Pastor Chuck Swindoll teaches how the power of our God is wonderfully revealed in the human body—beginning with the very moment of our conception.
