Letter from the director
Thank you for your interest in Insight for Living Canada and in particular the financial aspect of this ministry. I appreciate your friendship and the significant part you play as a stakeholder and investor in the work we do together. We take the matter of financial stewardship, accountability, and transparency in the way we use the financial resources entrusted to us very seriously.
It’s interesting how throughout Scripture things are numbered and accounted for. Days, people, livestock, soldiers, and money are a few of the things counted. Another example is found in John 6:1-15 where Jesus takes five barley loaves and two fish and by His power uses them to feed 5,000 men plus women and children. And after they were done, there were 12 baskets of leftovers. Now that is what I call good accounting, stewardship of resources, and return on investment!
This 2020-2021 annual report is a report of the loaves, fish, and baskets of Insight for Living Canada. Like that story this the dollars referenced must be viewed in the larger picture of ministry across this country and lives and families impacted and transformed for eternity. As a donor you are part of that picture too.
Thank you again for your interest in the financial aspect of Insight for Living Canada. Through the support of people like you we will continue the task to which our Lord has called us—that of feeding people with God’s Word, the bread of life. We are your co-workers and consider it a privilege to minister with you.
In His service,
