The Cure for Christmas Cynicism
A Christmas of our own making is bound to fail. Christmas is God-made and doesn't disappoint.

“Don’t be afraid!...I bring you good news that will bring great joy to all people.” Come with Pastor Chuck Swindoll to witness this spectacular moment preserved in Luke 2:8–20 and hear the message of rejoicing that still echoes today.
In this message, Chuck Swindoll reminds us that God sovereignly gets His way, even through the most unexpected circumstances. The magnetism of God’s plan that led Mary and Joseph to Bethlehem and that drew the shepherds and summoned the wise men to worship the baby Jesus still draws us together at Christmas to worship our Saviour and Lord.
Want to make this Christmas season one to remember? Let’s consider how to move into the neighbourhood with our celebration. Let’s help people know God’s love this season by being generous inside and out, true from start to finish.

If you aren’t Jewish, then you’re what the Bible calls a “Gentile.” Most folks who follow the Jewish Messiah, Jesus, are just that—Gentiles. And as Gentiles, most of us don’t always understand Jewish Scripture, the Old Testament. This is particularly true when it comes to reading the prophetic books of the Bible. However, it’s helpful to keep in mind that the Old Testament makes the first announcements of Messiah’s coming and ministry. And few prophetic books have more prophecies about Messiah Jesus than the book of Isaiah.
Something down inside us admires a person who stretches our faith by doing things that are filled with vision. Initially such actions might appear to be foolish. That occurs when we don't know the facts behind the action.
Effective leadership is the key ingredient in a successful organization. And one thing great leaders have in common is their ability to influence and inspire others.
What’s holding you back from living your life to the fullest? Feelings of uselessness? Self-pity? Fear? Guilt? It’s never too late—or too early—to make positive changes.
In times of great stress we need a solid foundation to fall back upon. It is in those moments of panic and fear our training kicks in and we realize even though we feel lost and alone, it's not truth. God is with us.
