One of the great things about the Christmas season is the anticipation. Excitement runs high leading up to Christmas. There is so much to look forward to; the feelings around the season can’t be beat. But what do you do when it’s over?
Jesus says if we build our lives on Him, when the storms of life come, we will stand. We can trust in His wisdom and power.
In times of great stress we need a solid foundation to fall back upon. It is in those moments of panic and fear our training kicks in and we realize even though we feel lost and alone, it's not truth. God is with us.
Once we understand that sin and death have been companions since they entered the world through Adam’s disobedience, we can then begin to see the different destinations of those who believe versus those who do not.
If we are struggling with distrust and how to relate to the leader after their failure we need to look at our own attitudes first.
