Relating to Each Other
Even if we see the same people every day of the year we do not automatically relate to one another. It takes work and effort. It takes really seeing other people, not just looking at them.
Email. Internet. Video. Texting. Tablets. Smartphones. The list never ends, does it? As technology advances, real human connection becomes harder and harder. If we’re not careful, each new gadget can draw us further away from the family of believers God designed us to be.
If you want to experience a close community with other Christians, you must first escape the trap of superficiality and to develop tight bonds that will feed your soul and mature your spiritual family.

A family is a place that relates to one another, it’s a place where one member feels pain and is supported by others who encourage him or her in the hurt. A family is a place that listens when others speak. It’s a place that cares.
When we treat others with indifference we are making an announcement to them, declaring, “I don’t love you.” Towards whom are you apathetic?
Life gets complicated over time and it’s easy to lose your way. Maybe it’s time to get back to the basics and remember your First Love.
Tombstones are all the same when it comes to time. It’s always represented by a little small dash and that’s all. That’s life, and then it’s gone.
Friends are essential. They provide comfort, encouragement, and strength.
It’s easy to stay inside our comfort zones but reaching out to our neighbours is what the Christian life is all about. It’s what we’re called to do.
Jesus’ final words were spoken to His disciples but meant for everyone. And they’re life changing.
Life is all about relating to others in love, forgiveness, and grace. We need each other.
