If we truly desire to grow deeper, pull together, and go further than skin-deep superficiality in our relationships, we must remove those things that hinder true community.
Some people's lives are so noteworthy they become inspirational. The Bible is filled with accounts of such people, including two in the book of Philippians.
Non-believers don’t concern themselves with sharing the Gospel—only the followers of Jesus have that mandate. And sharing the Gospel is of eternal significance whereas “heaven and earth will disappear,” (Matthew 24:35).
The goal in all of this is to get back on track. To live how God intends me to. Chuck Swindoll says God wants us to live abundantly—and challenges us to remember this every day.
Those who try to follow Jesus’ example, without His strength, find their lives to be hypocritical and frustrating. What is needed in following Christ is balance.
Committing to the road less travelled has nothing to do with anyone else’s road or what he or she is doing on it. I’m not travelling any road except for the one God has allowed me to take.
We believe the Great Commission isn’t some ideal pipe dream for the Lord’s brightest and best missionaries. It’s Jesus’ command for every person who follows Him...a goal we CAN reach together if we commit our hearts AND our resources to it.
