Lamentations: Jeremiah's Journal of Woes

Lamentations stands as a sober reminder that sin, despite its allurements, carries with it a heavy weight of sorrow. In moving strains of poetic prayer, Jeremiah weeps over Jerusalem’s fall—the tragic consequence of God’s judgment.

Above the rubble, however, the promise of restoration rises like the morning sun. God’s mercies shine new every morning! Great is His faithfulness toward those who cry out to God and seek Him in their sorrows. Through the streaks of lament’s tears, God’s hope appears.
