There are some who teach that whoever does not believe that all the gifts of the Spirit are for today is actually saying that the era of the Holy Spirit is over. In other words, if we do not have all the “divine manifestations,” we have none of them. It’s a matter of all or nothing at all. But such is not the case. Who’s to say that one must claim the total and complete presence of all the gifts, including the continuation of “signs and wonders,” before we can believe the Spirit is at work? And what biblical proof is there for all the “supernatural gifts” continuing to the last days? We want to establish the fact that God the Holy Spirit is very much at work in this era and will continue to be to the end of time. In brief, we have not reached the end of the Spirit’s era.
