What’s the New Testament all about?

The big idea of the New Testament and the hallmark of the Reformation is salvation comes by grace alone, through faith alone, in Christ alone.

It’s Christ alone, solus Christus, who saves us.

For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith—and this is not from yourselves, it is the gift of God—not by works, so that no one can boast. For we are God’s handiwork, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do. (Ephesians 2:8-10 NIV)

At Insight for Living Canada, we teach it’s through Christ alone—not angels, saints, relics, priests, teachers, churches, or anything else—that salvation’s accomplished. Jesus’ substitutionary death on the cross is sufficient for our justification and reconciliation to God the Father.

The Son is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn over all creation. For in him all things were created: things in heaven and on earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones or powers or rules or authorities; all things have been created through him and for him. (Colossians 1:15-16 NIV)

We receive salvation as a free gift from God—and we rejoice in that salvation!

June is significant to us at Insight for Living Canada because it’s our fiscal year-end. It’s this month we wrap up loose ends, balance our budget, and dream about what’s next for the ministry.

Your financial support makes a critical difference as we attempt to finish this financial year in a strong position. Would you join us in this mission to preach the truth of the Gospel message to a post-Christian nation?

Please, follow the simple instructions on our website and let us know you’re standing with us.

For solus Christus,

Steve Johnson
