If you’ve ever wondered what the day-to-day looks like here at our Abbotsford office, here’s a glimpse. At any given moment throughout the day, it’s not uncommon to hear the phone ring. Through the windows of their offices, you’ll be able to see members of our Ministry Relations team on phone calls with constituents. The calls vary in both length and nature. There is laughter, prayer, and meaningful conversations as our staff members connect with those who call in. If you’ve been with us for any length of time, you’ve likely been encouraged to call in for prayer, a listening ear, or any number of other reasons. But it’s important to us that you know why we make ourselves available to your calls.

For one, your feedback is important to us. We want to make sure that Insight for Living Canada is serving you well, and we value hearing how we can continue to improve. We want to know which topics you’d like to see the ministry cover, hear your questions, and receive your thoughts on our latest publications. Your input can help us better serve our Canadian community. 

Also, we want to know how we can be in prayer for you. Here at Insight for Living Canada, telling you that we will pray for you is never an empty promise. Each week, usually on Wednesdays, staff members gather to lift up the prayer requests we have received throughout the week. We do this because we firmly believe that prayer changes things. Though we may not always hear how God answers each request, we are confident that each one is being held in the hands of the sovereign God.

Finally, our team wants to know you. As followers of Christ, we belong to the same family and are united by our love for Him and our desire to see Canada reached with the truth of the Bible. It is our honour to walk alongside you through the trials and the triumphs of life. If you need someone to talk to, remember that you are surrounded by a “huge crowd of witnesses to the life of faith” (Hebrews 12:1). Over the years, our Ministry Relations team members have built meaningful relationships with people they may never meet in person, yet whom they genuinely know, care for, and love.
